New TCF Fund-Online Tax Deductible Donations

Our organization, The Citizens Foundation (www.thecitizensfoundation.org) has set up a TCF Relief Fund for the Earthquake. Although TCF's mission is to provide primary and secondary education in Pakistan, the scale of this tragedy has prompted us into using our expertise for immediate relief and then in phase II for building houses destroyed by the quake. 100% of funds donated to The TCF Relief Fund will go towards relief efforts in the earthquake affected areas. A suggestion from Fozia Q.----perhaps tents from Saudi Arabia like the ones they put up at Haj time, might be a solution to a longer term housing for the millions of homeless. Apparently they are extremely sturdy and almost like a house, and God forbid, if a similar situation like the present occurs again, there wont be so much damage as one can get from concrete construction. A basic floor can be built as a base. Electricity can also be provided in these tents. It will also be much cheaper and quicker. Its a thought. Thanks.
